Thoughtful Gifts for Your Child's Teacher
Teacher Appreciation Week May 6th - May 10th
After a year of planning, engaging, and educating your children, it is time to appreciate the teacher in your child’s life. National Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10, and what better way to say “thank you” to educators than donating books to their classroom?
Classroom libraries are an essential element in any class; yet, on top of everyday supplies, supplemental books are not always included in annual budget plans. In order to stock classroom libraries for the year with a relevant variety of age appropriate books, teachers are often left with the choice of using personal funds or not have these resources at all.
Educators are dedicated to improving your child’s reading skills, so for Teacher Appreciation Week this year, consider ditching candies, and potpourri, and send in age-appropriate chapter books, coloring books, or other supplemental materials from Gallopade International.
